How to apply drops to a cat’s eye
Fix a cat (see “How to prepare a cat to treatments”).
Side position for applying eye drops (in a syringe without a needle).
So - dropping in an eye in position "on a stomach" with fixing by an owner standing on his knees.
Carefully pull the eyelids back so the eye drops will land in the eye and stay there. You apply eye ointment the same way, just squeeze it out of the tube making sure NOT to touch the applicator directly to the eye.
The next picture shows how to apply drops to the nose (remove the needle from the syringe, insert the tip gently into the nostril).
