Cat paintings
Fifteen galleries — fifteen artists who painted cats, some all their lives and some just once. Salon painting and Chinese ink, pencil portraits that are hard to believe were drawn by hand, and outright caricature. They have one thing in common, and it is the thing that matters: the cat in every one of these pictures is recognisable at a glance.
